Late 19th century carved tall clock case, manner of R.J. Horner, having an elaborately carved Renaissance Revival style case with scroll and cherub pediment over a hood, flanked by male caryatid figures, the center section with lion masks and carved pheasant and floral motifs, flanked by female caryatid figures, and the base with lion masks and carved dragons and foliage. Case 97 1/2" H x 27" W x 17 1/2" D. Also included is a Brass and silvered dial, with lunette molding around face, pendulum, and weights — all are out-of-period replacements. Works marked "UW 3/12A Urgos, Made in Germany, No. 101 Jewels Unadjusted 90779". Music box mechanism. Condition: Lacks original works. Older patinated surface with a tight crack running the length of the pendulum door, scattered abrasions to feet and high points of case.
