Two (2) large Chinese watercolor and gouache scroll paintings. 1st item: Scroll painting depicting an ancestral or family portrait with an older man attired in a black robe with a cane rank badge in the center, with two women standing behind him, one older woman attired in a blue robe, and one younger woman attired in a red robe, against a plain background. Unsigned. Mounted to a beige silk brocade with laid paper backing. Sight: 69 1/2" H x 38" W. Overall: 86" H x 42" W. 2nd item: Scroll painting depicting three warriors attired in blue, tan, and red armor, the central one seated and holding a scroll while the two others stand behind him grasping their weapons against a naturalistic landscape background with blossoming flowers. With a row of Chinese characters and a red seal mark, upper right. Mounted to a beige silk brocade with laid paper backing. Sight: 70" H x 37 1/2" W. Overall: 90 1/2" H x 42" W. 20th cenury.

CONDITION: Both with overall creasing, slight discoloration, and some wear to edges, foxing spots, and fraying to fabric.
