Grouping of three (3) Delft tin-glazed earthenware items, including one (1) blue and white tray or platter having a deeply scalloped and shaped border with landscape vignette decoration, marked en verso AP for Anthony Pennis, De Twee Scheepjes factory, 18th century; one (1) blue and white tile depicting a lone figure in a landscape setting; and one (1) polychrome decorated tile with sailing ship decoration. Both 19th century. Ranging in size from 5″ square to 8 1/4″ H x 9 3/4″ W.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. Joe Newsom Rawlings, Davisboro, Georgia.
CONDITION: Platter with scattered wear and shallow flakes to rim edge, some light scattered staining. Blue and white tile with craquelure to glaze, losses to upper corner. Polychrome tile with overall craquelure, overall good condition.
