Jenny Lind historical "calabash style" blown glass flask, model GI-103, made by the The Whitney glass works in Southern New Jersey. Cornflower blue in color, the body with the bust of Jenny Lind within a garland and titled JENY LIND (sic) above to one side and a factory building depicted on the reverse side, with 11 bands of ribbing to each side. Base with rough pontil mark. 9 3/4" H. Mid 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, interior with white residue.
