Hippie Jack Stoddart (American/Tennessee, late 20th/early 21st century), four (4) signed photographs, including one sepia-toned photographic print depicting two Appalachian children by a pump titled "Gettin' Water," signed and dated 1983; one tinted photographic print titled "Sad," signed and dated 1986; one depicting figures in a speed boat signed a/p and dated 1992; and one depicting a dog looking out a window with the back of a nude woman partially visible behind a curtain, numbered 24/500 and dated 1991. All 10 1/2" x 14," unframed. Note: Jack Stoddart is a Florida-born photographer turned music producer who now focuses on improving the lives of mountain residents of Appalachia. His photographs were the subject of a 2009 retrospective exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum and are also in the collections of the American History Museum and the Smithsonian.
CONDITION: All photographs with handling wear and tape from former framing. Scattered corner creases and light cockeling/buckling to paper. The photo of the boat has some faint grime and a 1/4" ding/puncture to center, sky area.
