Four (4) Delft tin-glazed earthenware items, including tankards and tobacco jars. 1st item: Polychrome tankard with C-shaped handle; foliate designs and figural landscape scene to body; and a pewter base, rim, and hinged lid with a spherical finial. Stamped "Fens Nammens 1746" to lid; stamped with maker's mark to underside of lid. Mid-18th century. 2nd item: Delft blue and white tankard with C-shaped handle, figural landscape scene to body, and a pewter hinged lid with bud finial. Signed "1440 E" to underside of lid. 18th century. 3rd item: Delft blue and white tobacco jar with foliate design, labeled "Tabac de Pari" to body. Late 18th/early 19th century. 4th item: Delft Blue and white tobacco jar with floral spray labeled "Portorico" to body, with graduated conical gilt lid. Maker's mark to underside. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered wear to glaze and hairlines to body, largest measuring 4"; oxidation and minor pitting to metal with some flaws in the making. 2nd item: Scattered wear to glaze to body with losses to glaze at base and handle; oxidation and minor pitting to metal. 3rd item: Scattered wear to glaze and hairlines to body, largest measuring 4 1/2" L; losses to rim, largest measuring 1/2" H x 5/8" W. 4th item: Overall very good condition with minor wear to rim and slight surface scratches to lid.
