Two (2) Chinese Export porcelain parrot figures, likely roof tiles, with incised detailing and three-colored glaze depicted perched upon pierced bases. One retains a partial wax export seal to base (9 1/2" H x 3" dia.), and the other is unmarked (10 3/8" H x 2 3/4" dia.). 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Both items with scattered wear to glaze commensurate with age. Parrot with partial wax seal with scattered minor losses to glaze, particularly to base. Other parrot with repaired but unglazed beak and minor scattered losses to glaze at base.
