1st & 2nd items: Pair of Victorian cased glass vases, white cut to cranberry, low form with enameled and gilt floral decoration. 5 5/8" H. 3rd item: Bohemian cased glass bottle form vase, white cut to green, having a ruffled rim and gilt foliate designs. 12" H. 4th & 5th items: Pair of Victorian cased glass bottles, white cut to cranberry, have a shaped rim with teardrop stopper, the body with enamel painted vignettes depicting children and foliate decoration with gilt highlights throughout. 7 1/2" H. 6th – 8th items: Set of three silver-mounted cased glass items, white cut to clear, including a condiment holder and two small tazzas, all with rococo style silver bases and enameled and gilt foliate decoration. Silver bases with worn hallmarks, silver content unknown. 6 1/2" H and 3 1/8" H. 9th item: German Bohemian blown glass presentation goblet with handpainted enameled decoration to the bowl depicting a gentleman raising a glass and seated at a vineyard door with German inscription below. Raised enameled decoration accents to lower bowl and knop. 10 1/2" H. 10th item: German blown glass vase with handpainted enameled decoration depicting a young boy atop a white horse holding an Imperial German flag. 10" H. All items Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: Overall very good condition. Both with light scratching to base, one with a shallow chip. 3rd item: Minor scattered wear to gilt decoration, otherwise overall good condition. 4th & 5th items: One having stopper with chip to cap edge and one with previous repair with corresponding hairline circumventing stopper, otherwise overall very good condition. 6th – 8th items: All pieces with wear to decoration along with wear and losses to silver bases. One tazza with old staple repairs to glass. Silver content unknown. 9th item: Very good condition, firing flaw to rim. 10th item: Overall very good condition, light scratching to the base.
