Two (2) Asian polychrome porcelain items wired as table lamps. 1st item: Chinese Famille Rose square vase depicting various flowering branches to body and a narrow neck with foliate designs to teal ground; mounted with brass hardware upon a hardwood stand with geometric design. Vase: 11 1/2" H x 3 1/2" square. Overall: 24 1/4" H x 4" square. 2nd item: Japanese Imari ginger jar with foliate and dragon motifs mounted with ebonized brass hardware on a pierced hardwood stand. Vase: 6" H x approx. 5" W. Overall: 12 3/8" H. Both items early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Tina McWhorter Trust; from the collection of John and Tina McWhorter, Memphis, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both lamps functional at time of inspection. Famille Rose lamp in overall very good condition. Imari lamp with scattered minor wear to glaze and loss to hardwood stand.
