LeRoy Neiman (American, 1921-2012) serigraph, 1980, titled "Normandy Sailing," depicting a group of figures in a sailboat seen from the rear and bearing the name Brigett. The vessel's brightly colored sails extend into a vibrant, multicolored sky. Signed in pencil "LeRoy Neiman" below image lower right, and numbered in pencil "405/1000" below image lower left. Published by Styria Studios, Inc., New York, with blind stamp lower center. Housed under glass in a wood frame with pale green mat and yellow and blue reveals. Image: 11 3/4" H x 8 3/4" W. Sight: 13 1/2" H x 10" W. Frame: 22 1/2" H x 18 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: A Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Print appears to be in excellent condition. Some debris between mat and plexiglass and minor scuffing to frame. A one-inch scratch to plexiglass lower right. Not examined outside of frame.
