Pair of Continental figural gilt and patinated bronze candlesticks, comprised of a brown patinated male satyr holding a gilt bronze candleholder while standing on a round gilt bronze base mounted upon a square marble base. Unmarked. 10 7/8" H. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. Joe Newsom Rawlings, Davisboro, Georgia.
CONDITION: Both candlesticks overall good condition. One with slightly loose base. Both marble bases with wear and minor scatted losses, primarily to the corners.
