Five (5) Herend hand-painted porcelain female figures, including one (1) titled "Nude Woman with Mirror" depicting a kneeling female with green cloth and parcel gilt mirror; one (1) titled "Maternal" depicting a female dressed in a green dress with blue accent and pink hair wrap with partially exposed breast holding a jug and consoling a child tugging at her dress; one (1) titled "Motherhood" depicting a female dressed in a green dress and hair wrap and seated on a naturalistic ground and breastfeeding a baby; one (1) titled "Nude Dancer with Veil" depicting a female perched on one foot with arms outstretched draped in a blue cloth; and one (1) titled "Nude Woman" depicintg a female stretching her arms overhead and grasping her red-brown hair. All items with blue Herend stamp mark and numbered on the base. Ranging in size from 8 1/4" H x 2 1/8" dia. to 10 3/4" H x 5 1/2" W x 4" D. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private East Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Figure "Nude Woman" has evidence of an old repair to a hairline across the lower thighs, approximately 3 1/2" L, with discoloration of glaze to the figure below the waist. All other pieces in overall very good condition.
