Eight (8) Mark Scearce sterling silver Kentucky mint julep cups or beakers with a tapered body and beaded upper and lower rims. Marked on the underside MARK J. SCEARCE SHELBYVILLE KENTUCKY / STERLING with an eagle symbol and JFK initials commemorating the American president during the period in which it was made (John F. Kennedy, 1961-1963). 3 3/4″ H. 36.63 total troy ounces. (Second set of 2 Scearce JFK-era juleps offered in this auction). 

PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Michael Spalding, Nashville, TN.

CONDITION: Most cups have an occasional pinpoint dent. One has a 1/2 inch dent near the foot. One has a 1/4 inch dent. Light use wear. No monograms.
