Jose Bumanlag David (United States/Philippines, 1909-1990) oil on board Filipino landscape painting, 1935. A small boat rests on the shore or a body of water and before thatched-roof building. Dense vegetation grows in the background and along the right bank. Signed “Jose B. David,” dated, and inscribed “P.I.” (Philippine Islands), lower right. Housed in a modern wooden frame. Sight: 13″ H x 9 1/2″ W. Framed: 18 1/2″ H x 15″ W.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. With light surface grime.
