14K yellow gold and enamel Elgin hunting case watch, marked "Warranted 14K", ornate enameled floral and landscape case, white enamel face with Roman numerals and secondary dial. Engraved "To Sallie from her Father, Dec 25 '83." Works #1194038. Size 6. 1 3/4" diameter. 70.3 grams total. Chain is goldplated and not weighed. Given by William Hunter to Sallie Hunter Giers, by descent to Sarah Hunter Hicks Green. Provenance: the estate of Sarah Hunter Hicks Green, formerly of Historic Devon Farm, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: In working condition at time of inspection.
