Limited edition Lladro porcelain figurine group titled "Kitakami Cruise", #1605, depicting a Japanese ship with an eight-columned structure with a tiled roof, a dragon figurehead with a suspended lantern at the bow, and a crane figurehead at the stern. The boat contains five female figures in kimonos and wide obis tied in bows fanning themselves, holding an umbrella, or preparing tea, a male figure rowing with a pole at the bow. Sculpted by Salvador Debon, decorated by Angeles Cabo, issued in 1989, and retired in 1992. Signed, numbered "245", and additional signature and date "J. Lladro 11-9-92" in black to the underside. Maker's mark stamped in blue and impressed "1605" to the underside. Retains original COA and packaging. Includes an additional umbrella component. 12 5/8" H x 42" W x 8" D.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition.
