Italian School, 19th century, oil on tin panel painting depicting the bustling Bay of Naples, with smoke rising from Mt. Vesuvius in the background. Unsigned. Housed in a giltwood Rococo style frame. Panel: 11″W x 8″H. Frame: 18″W x 11″H.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.
CONDITION: Painting in overall very good condition with some light grime/yellowing to varnish layer. Frame has been repainted and exhibits a few minor spots of wear and repairs.
