Two (2) Peti Clements (Alabama, 1911-1999) folk or outsider art acrylic on board miniature paintings depicting black and white chickens, one signed “Peti” and the other signed “Peti Clements.” Both are housed in parcel painted wood frames. Biographical Note: Peti Clements was a female folk artist raised on a rural Alabama farm and many of her paintings depict scenes of her early, everyday life. Her work is represented in the permanent collection of the Tennessee Valley Art Museum, Tuscumbia, AL.
CONDITION: Both overall very good condition.
