Signed lower left “George Wells.” Housed in a gilt-carved Louis XVI style frame. Sight: 13 3/4″ H x 10 1/4″ W. Framed: 22″ H x 18″ W. 2nd item: Oil on canvas painting attributed to John Smart (United Kingdom, 1838 -1899) depicting a young girl attired in Victorian dress smiling and holding on to her bonnet while walking on a dirt pathway in a landscape setting, 1886. Signed and dated in red lower right. Housed in a gilt-carved Louis XVI style frame. Sight: 13 1/2″ H x 11 1/2″ W. Framed: 20 1/2″ H x 19″ W.
