Tekke Engsi area rug, wool on wool, almost square, measuring 53 1/2" x 49 1/2" (4.45 ' x 4.125'), Primary rust field, with symbols in blue, cream and apricot. Early 20th century. Condition: 2 1/2" tear on one end, 1" x 1 1/2" poor repair in one quadrant, low pile and areas of corduroy effect, fraying and losses on selvedge and ends. Tape residue on back.
