Attributed to Samuel V. Chamberlain (Massachusetts/Iowa, 1895-1975) drawing and watercolor on heavy paper painting depicting a cityscape with figures under a cloudy sky rendered in varying brown saturations. Unsigned but label en verso states the work is by Chamberlain and gives a date of 1917. Float mounted and matted in a contemporary frame. Sight: 13 1/4" H x 8 1/4" W, Framed: 25 1/2" H x 20" W. Circa 1917.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with some scratching to surface of work, one 2" L, upper center, and one 1 1/2" L, center. Small crease to upper right corner. Examined outside of frame and adhered to a backing.
