Charles Emile Jonchery (French, 1873-1937) Art Nouveau bronze sculpture of a cherub, gazing up a young woman with upswept hair and nearly exposed breast. Her waist narrows and her wrap flows outward to form a vide poche. Signed on base, verso, “Jonchery”. 19 in H. x 11 in. W x 9 in. D. French, early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of James Drury, Lombard, Illinois.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with some scattered light wear to surface of vide poche and minor oxidation.
