Frame: 22 1/4 in H x 25 1/2 in W. 2nd Item: Leon-Laurent Galand (France, 1872-1960) oil on canvas painting of a rural French scene — possibly set in Normandy, France — with a peasant woman who attends to a goat and three sheep. A building stands behind her and a fence extends to the right edge of the canvas. Signed lower left. Housed in a rusticated giltwood frame. Sight: 14 3/4 in H x 17 7/8 in W. Frame: 18 in H x 21 1/8 in W.

CONDITION: Both items in overall very good condition. Item 2 with minor loss, 1/8 inch x 1/8 inch, likely flake, to rock plus minor retouching to frame abrasions. Not examined out of frames.
