Jane Corsellis (English, b. 1940) oil on canvas impressionist portrait painting titled "The Russian Dancer", depicting a young female with black hair in a red leotard and red headband. Partially legible signature "Corsellis" in green lower left. Label en verso for Mall Galleries (London) Federation of British Artists exhibition, with title and artist information, along with Nashville framer's label. Housed in an ebonized wood frame with gilt edge and silvered sight edge. Sight: 7 1/2" H x 7 1/2" W. Frame: 12" H x 12" W. Late 20th/early 21st century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
