Ten (10) Royal Doulton hand painted dessert or cabinet plates by Samuel Wilson. with scalloped edges depicting various game birds in pairs or small flocks amid their natural habitats surrounded by parcel gilt foliate swags upon deep red ground. All signed "S. Wilson". All stamped with makers mark and registered number 72067, additional numbering, and bird species and impressed with numbering to underside.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with minute areas of scattered surface wear, including scratches, largest measuring 1" L. 3 plates with scattered craquelure.
