Various paintings adorning the walls in the background. Signed "P. Bisson, 1843" lower right. Old auction result label en verso, listing the title as Artists and Eggs. Housed in a gilt and gesso frame with molding. Sight: 14 1/8" W x 10 1/2" H. Framed: 21 7/8" W x 18 1/8" H.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: Overall craquelure and light inpainting specifically in lower margin, largest area 2 1/2" lower left, visible under UV light inspection.
