Antique Caucasus Kazak rug, wool on wool. The center has three geometric medallions on a brick red ground within multiple geometric borders. Woven in colors of red/rust, blue, brown, and gold. 4 ft. 6 in. x 7 ft. 6 in. 3rd Qtr. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Southern Collection, ex-Bonhams.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with moderate wear. Ends have been reinforced en verso, losses to ends, and some scattered knot show.
