Oil on canvas marsh scene painting depcting a mallard in flight. Signed "CHR-N-25" in red lower right. Housed in a giltwood frame with carved fruit and nut decoration. Sight: 18 1/4"H x 25 3/4" W. Framed: 25 1/2" H x 33" W. Danish school, early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Thomas Bechtel, Memphis, TN.
CONDITION: Canvas overall very good condition with craquelure. Painting is loose in frame. Frame with significant losses to carving and gilt decoration to right side, largest 3 1/2".
