Antique Saryk Turkoman Ensi rug, wool on wool. A red-ground central panel with flowering branch designs, flanked top and bottom by a wide inner border with flowering branch designs, all surrounded by an inner border. Wide woven border at the base. Woven in red, blue, and cream colors. 6 ft. 10 in. 5 ft. 2 in. Circa 1900.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, very slight scattered stains, one fringed end with heavy losses, ends reinforced.
