Three (3) Continental hand-painted polychrome and parcel gilt porcelain pierced baskets, including KPM and Meissen. 1st item: KPM footed basket or bowl, the center decorated with a hand painted pair of birds upon a branch, with naturalistic branch handles that extend as feet, with molded flowering branches and floral sprays. Faint blue scepter maker's mark and impressed "U" to underside. 4 5/8" H x 12 1/4" W x 8 1/4" D. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) Meissen baskets, one oval, one round, with intertwined branch handles, molded foliate forms, floral spray to well, and blue rosettes to intersections. Both with blue crossed swords maker's mark and impressed numbering to underside. Oval basket with blue dots mark to underside. Round: 4 5/8" H x 10 3/8" W x 9 3/4" D; oval: 3 3/4" H x 10 1/8" W x 7" D. All items mid to late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items overall good condition with light wear to gilt decoration. Minor chip to flower of KPM basket. Miniscule scattered chips to foliate forms on Meissen oval basket.
