Three (3) antique Turkmen weavings, all wool on wool and woven in traditional designs in colors of red, blue, cream, and brown, including; a Chodor Torba, 5 ft. 1 in. x 1 ft. 8 in., circa 1870s; a Chodor Chuval, 4 ft. 5 in. x 2 ft. 7 in., circa 1870s; and a Chodor Torba, 4 ft. 9 in. x 1 ft. 1 in., circa 1900s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: overall good condition- losses to fringed end. 2nd item: moderate pile wear. 3rd item: overall good condition- losses to fringed end, old glue repair to one side with some tears.
