Three (3) Capodimonte design gilt mounted porcelain boxes with bas relief designs, including one (1) attributed to Ernst Bohne Sons German casket form with classical vignette depicting the Greek god Hermes flanked by four figures in a landscape scene surrounded by scrolling foliate and mask designs to lid, fish and foliate forms with vignettes of mythological figures to body, and lioness hinged latch; one (1) German rectangular form with canted corners having classical vignette depicting the Greek goddess Aphrodite being led to her flower-adorned chariot by cherubs to lid, scrolling foliate forms to lid and body, and foliate hinged latch; and one (1) French circular form with grapevine swags to lid, a procession of putti supporting or eating from a continuous grapevine swag to body, mask hinged latch, and "Hand Painted France" with import/export mark to underside. All items with spurious Capodimonte blue crown and N mark to underside. Ranging in size from 5 1/2" H x 6 1/4" dia. to 4 1/2" H x 11 3/4" W x 7" D. All items 19th century.

CONDITION: Minute scattered wear to gilt; minor scattered surface residue. Minute loss to glaze of Aphrodite box measuring 1/4" x 1/8".
