Frank Follmer (d. 2000), lot of two cartoon sketches depicting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (one depicts only dwarves). Pencil on paper, signed lower right "F. Follmer." 12" x 18". Accompanied by copy of a 1997 letter from Robert Tieman, manager of the Walt Disney Archives, stating that Frank Follmer worked for Disney from 1937-1940. Although there is no record of exactly what projects he worked on, Tieman writes it is likely that given the time period he did work on the animation for Snow White. Condition: Browning to edges, and one 1/4" tear lower edge of one drawing.
