1st item: Antique Persian Baluch rug with three large geometric medallions on a center gold field within one large red ground primary border with star and floral designs, Woven in colors of red, blue, gold, and cream. 3 ft. 8 in. x 2 ft. 5 in. Circa 1880. 2nd item: Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Chuval rug, wool on wool, central deep rust or brick red field with four rows of four guls, plain red lower elem pane, birds on the upper border. Woven in colors of brown, blue, red, and cream. 3 ft. 10 in. x 2 ft. 8 in. Circa 1875.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Tear/losses to lower left border, otherwise overall good condition. 2nd item: Overall good condition, light pile wear
