Pair of two (2) French Sevres style Neoclassical gilt bronze mounted porcelain vases wired as lamps, each of urn form, enameled on a bleu-celeste ground with pastoral courting scenes to one side and Boizot a Boucs or floral sprays to other, surrounded by raised gilt diapered and foliate designs; scrolling ormolu handles and foliate neck upon socle with embracing putti, all raised on a porcelain pedestal with bronze floral garlands and bronze foliate decorated base with scrolling feet. 39" H (to top of finials). Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with slight age related wear to the bleu-celeste ground and minor wear to the gilt. Some oxidation to the bronze. Both have modern wiring and are functioning at time of inspection.
