Grouping of four (4) tribal weavings including: a Kurdish bag face with traditional geometric designs and lower fringe in blue, salmon, red and cream colors, 2 ft 1 in x 1 ft 11 in., Circa 1875; a Baluch bag face with central medallion design in colors of red, blue, rust, and cream. 2 ft 10 in x 2 ft 7 in. Circa 1880; a Kurdish bagface with unwoven back, face woven in colors of green, pink, orange, cream, and blue. 2 ft 8 in x 1 ft 4 in. Circa 1920; and a Baluch floor rug with all over geometric designs in colors of olive green, rust, blue and cream. 4 ft 6 in x 2 ft 6 in. Circa 1880.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION:
1st item: Overall very good condition, losses to the lower fringed end. 2nd item: Wear to margins and fringes, overall good condition. 3rd item: Losses to the upper left corner and right margin, seam separation lower edge. 4th item: Overall good condition with some losses to fringed end with light even wear.
