Lot 907: 3 Antique Afghan Baluch Weavings, Prayer Rug & 2 Bag Face

Group of three (3) Antique Afghan Baluch weavings,  including a prayer rug and two bag face weavings, all wool on wool construction, woven in traditional tribal designs in colors of red, blue, and cream. 4 ft. 10 in. x 3 ft. 8 in., 2 ft. 7 in. x 2 ft. 1 in., and 2 ft. 11 in. x 2 ft. 7 in. All weavings from the Last Quarter of the 19th century.

Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION:

Prayer rug with areas of pile wear and a hole in the upper edge, some abrash. Bag face weavings are both in overall good condition.
