Chinese silver figurine of a prancing horse, with a silver filigree mane, tail, and saddle enhanced with quartz cabochons. Stamped “925 Silver” on the underside of the horse’s belly and mounted to a hardwood base. Horse XRF tests >925 or sterling. Horse 10 in. H x 10 in. W x 3 in. D. With Base: 12 in. H x 11 in. D x 4 in. D. Together with a near pair of two silver filigree-on-wood boxes, each with Chinese hallmarks to base. Both boxes XRF test .925 or Sterling. 1 1/2 in. H x 4 in. W x 3 in. D.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.
CONDITION: 1 small break to filigree on horse saddle, otherwise all items very good condition. All items with tarnish which we have not attempted to remove.
