Lot 903: 2 Antique Turkmen Tekke Ensi Rugs

Two Antique Turkmen Tekke Ensi rugs, wool on wool. Central cruciform design with four panels having bird head and geometric designs, and a wide lower elem panel with stylized lattice and geometric designs. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 5 ft. x 4 ft. and 4 ft. 8 in. x 3 ft 10 in. Both circa 1900.

CONDITION:

1st rug: Overall good condition, fringe losses. 2nd rug: Moderate pile wear to one end, fringe losses.
