Two antique Turkmen torbas and two antique Baluch Balisht pillows including a Tekke Torba circa 1890 (4 ft 9 in 1 ft 8 in), a Yomud Torba full bag circa 1880 (3 ft x 1 ft 3 in), a Baluch Balisht pillow face with silk circa 1870 (3 ft 6 in x 1 ft 6 in) and a Baluch Balisht pillow circa 1880 (3 ft 1 in x 1 ft 8 in).
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Tekke Torba with light uneven pile wear, losses to lower border. Yomud Torba with losses to the lower fringe, staining to the back. Baluch pillow face with some uneven pile wear, mostly to center and border edges. Last Baluch pillow with some minor abrash to one end, repairs to the margin.
