Books arranged in accordion format, bound by decorated canvas with gold and silver leaf. Books housed in faded blue canvas case. All books and case labeled with title. 12"H x 4 1/4"W x 2 1/8"D. 2nd item: LETTRES ILLUSTREES DE EDOUARD MANET (1832-1883), published Paris, Maurice Legarrec, Editeur, 1929. Introduction by Jean Guiffrey, book executed by Daniel Jacomet et Cie. Book arranged by recipient of letter, each letter reproduced to original size and decorated with images of nature and people. Illegible personal inscription in pencil on first page. Housed in hardback canvas and imitation brown suede case with green lining. 10 1/4" H x 7 3/8" W x 7/8" D.
