Eight (8) Chinese pewter, cloisonne, and cinnabar containers. 1st-3rd items: Three (3) cylindrical pewter tea caddies engraved with floral, koi fish, and dragon designs with lids; two (2) having second internal lids with handles; all stamped with maker's mark on the underside. 4th item: Pewter tea caddy box engraved with floral designs on top and robed figure on lid; contains second internal lid with white wooden handle. 5th item: Small rectangular pewter container with lid on four feet engraved with flowers, a book, and Chinese characters. 6th item: Small cylindrical pewter container with screw lid stamped with unidentified markings on underside. 7th item: Cloisonne box with polychrome floral and geometric design with hinged lid on four bracket feet with a blue glazed interior. 8th item: Small carved cinnabar box with landscape scene on hinged lid and floral and geometric designs on the body; black lacquered inside with two separated, sloped compartments; labeled in red, CHINA, on base. All items ranging from 1 5/8" H x 3 1/2" W x 1 1/8" D to 7 3/4" H x 8 1/8" W x 6 1/8" D. All pieces late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Patricia Kiegel, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with oxidation and some warping/denting on pewter items; very minor oxidation on surface of cloisonne box, and some losses to the interior and base of cinnabar box.
