Lot 898: 2 Antique Turkmen Yomud Torba Weavings

Two Antique Turkmen Yomut or Yomud Torba rugs circa including one with stylized floral central field on a red ground with fringe to the lower border and one with three rows or three guls on a red ground with a batwing border. 2ft 9in x 1ft 3in and 3ft 0in x 1ft 6in. Both Late 19th/Eary 20th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: 1st item: Old staples en verso otherwise very good condition with some minor wear to fringe. 2nd item: Overall very good condition with very light wear to the center.
