Antique Tekke Turkmen Main Carpet, wool on wool. Central red field with three rows of seven guls and diamond borders to each end. Woven in red, blue, and cream colors. 6ft 7in x 4ft 1in. Circa 1870's.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with uneven pile wear, heavier wear to the center. Minor losses to the fringe on each end.
