Lot 887: 9 Chinese Glass Snuff Bottles incl. Peking Double Gourd

Nine (9) Chinese glass snuff bottles, including 1 yellow glass with ruby red overlay decoration with flowers and bats, and a stopper carved in the form of a figural ox; 1 green glass double gourd form with red overlay raised butterflies and flowers; 1 blue glass molded with Shou symbol; 1 clear quartz with raised figural decorations and molded amber colored stopper; 1 pale green quartz with raised decoration of birds and branches with lavender quartz stopper; 1 “snowflake” glass with ruby red overlay in the form of a turtle’s body, with replacement green glass stopper; 1 blown pink/clear glass with gilt metal stopper; 1 opaline glass with raised blue and pink cameo decoration of bears and relief decorated stopper; and 1 green glass bottle modeled as a piece of fruit. Sizes range from 1 1/2 to 3 in. H. 20th century. 

CONDITION: All items overall very good condition. Some stoppers lack spoons and may not be original.
