Eighteen (18 pieces of Nashville, Tennessee-related antique coin silver flatware. Includes 1 fiddle tipt handled tablespoon stamped G.W. DONIGAN in rectangle (George Washington Donigan, working Nashville, TN 1850-d. 1864), with monogram EAK; 3 fiddle handled teaspoons stamped J. CAMPBELL in rectangle (working Fayetteville, NC, 1818-1836, and Nashville, TN, active 1836-1855), with monogram GK; 7 tablespoons plus 1 matching teaspoon with floral engraved handles marked for makers Wood and Hughes of New York and for Nashville retailer B.H. Stief (circa 1880-1900), and 6 similar floral engraved teaspoons marked for Whiting Silver and for Nashville retailer B.H. Stief (circa 1880-1900). Of the floral engraved spoons, 5 tablespoons are monogrammed T. & O. J. and the 6 teaspoons are monogrammed O.W. Coin silver: 2.96 oz troy. Sterling silver: 15.23 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection, by descent in the family of the consignor.
CONDITION: Wear to the tips of some of the floral engraved tablespoons. All 3 Campbell spoons are worn and dented and one of them has a tear to the side of the bowl. Other items very good condition.
