Southern pie safe, cherry primary, poplar secondary, possibly South Carolina. One long drawer having rabbeted, square nail construction with wooden pulls, over two doors with circular floral punched tins and straight flared foot. Interior fitted with one shelf. Old original surface with remnants of old paint. 47 1/2" H x 45 1/2" W x 18" D. 2nd half 19th century. CONDITION: Scattered abrasions to surface, especially to top, age crack to wood on top. Wear to varnished surface.
