Three (3) framed woodcuts after Winslow Homer (American, 1836-1910) depicting children, including two from Harper's Weekly: "GLOUCESTER HARBOR" and "SHIP BUILDING, GLOUCESTER HARBOR," both circa 1873, together with "ON THE ROAD TO LAKE GEORGE," likely from Appleton's Journal, c. 1869. Image sizes range from to 9" x 14" to 6 1/2" x 6". Framed – 18" H x 22"W to 13" x 13 1/2". Matted under glass in later frames.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Ann H. Wells, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All in very good condition with light toning, light creasing, scattered minor foxing. The original "Appleton's Journal" title appears to have been cut off from the "Lake George" print and the print's frame has wear and scratching.
