Depression Era hand stitched pieced and embroidered cotton autograph quilt; 42 diamond shaped solid color and printed blocks, each containing signatures (most stitched, a few printed). Some contain dates (1931-1932), many are embellished with additional designs such as flowers and portraits or phrases such as "Remember Me" or "Forget me Not". Most of the embroidered town names are Dellrose, Tennessee (Lincoln County) or Hollis, Oklahoma. 88-1/2" x 72". Condition: Overall good condition with several scattered small stains, most visible on back, largest 1" diameter; color run on 2 blocks (one from printed fabric at a fold, the other on a block which had penned signature with no stitching – possibly an unfinished block).
