$20 "Plain Back" bank note dated 1902 from the First National Bank of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, depicting the portrait of Hugh McCulloch, former Secretary of State. Third Issue. Serial #12571/ pp B. CH # 9319. FR # 652. Vernon/Treat signatures. PMG graded 35/Choice Very Fine. Provenance: the collection of the late James A. Newman (Nashville, TN, 1892-1964). CONDITION: PMG graded 35/Choice Very Fine. Minor stains, pinholes.
